About the Author

Jeannie Robins has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Education from Oklahoma Baptist University. She was a secondary level educator in the field of technology for many years. Her husband, Doug Robins, was formerly Director of Student Ministries at Bandera Road Community Church in San Antonio, Texas; a church he helped found in 1992. Together Doug and Jeannie ministered to over 600 students weekly. As a student director’s wife, Jeannie spent numerous hours counseling teenagers – many of whom, as adults, still come around for additional advice.

Today, Jeannie Robins customizes speaking engagements regarding college preparation topics for schools, organizations, and church groups. Jeannie and Doug live in San Antonio with their two rambunctious young kids where Doug is now a teaching pastor at Bandera Road Community Church.

Remember, independence and maturity are difficult destinations to find on the roadmap of life. After reading this book, you are well prepared to embark on your adventure.
